The New vs. The Old

by Kevin Litchfield

In Luke Chapter 5:37-39 Jesus tells a story about new and old wine. “And no one puts new wine in old wine skins. For the new wine would burst the wine skins, spilling the wine and ruining the skins. New wine must be stored in new wine skins. BUT no one who drinks the OLD WINE seems to want the NEW WINE. The OLD is just FINE they say.”

In your own life and in the life of your church where are you stuck? Where are you complacent? Where are you settling for second gest?

I am praying for a fresh wind that causes us to desire the heart of the Father no matter what it costs.
